Library Foundation Welcomes Two Directors

The Library Foundation for Sarasota County proudly announces the addition of two new board members: Alison Gardner and Leslie Pemberton. Alison, with a 40-year career history in the financial services industry, currently serves as founder and Portfolio Manager of Sage Advisors LLC. Leslie is retired from the field of Quality and Operating Excellence after leading this work globally for Bank of America, Sonoco, and Kennametal.

Each brings unique professional experience, extensive board leadership, and a commitment to enhancing and sustaining Sarasota County’s public libraries. Alison and Leslie were elected to a three-year term starting July 1.

“We are excited to welcome Alison and Leslie, and I have no doubt both their professional and nonprofit experience will be a huge asset to our already strong board,” says Kat Wingert, board president with the Library Foundation for Sarasota County. “I look forward to working with these two dynamic leaders on new ways to elevate our work.”
